Jen

Jen joined SDRBC in 2020, thinking she was just going to be a foster. Spoiler alert: she failed—spectacularly. Peppa, her foster pup, never left, and neither did Jen! What started as opening her home to a rescue dog quickly turned into handling the rescue’s finances, bookkeeping, and, in 2023, joining the board. Now, she’s the behind-the-scenes wizard making sure everything runs smoothly so Karen can focus on the magic of matching dogs with their humans.

By day, Jen is a finance professional and entrepreneur. By night (and weekends... and whenever needed), she’s tackling social media, technology, IT, and any other “Hey Jen, can you help with this?” tasks that pop up.

At home, she’s ruled by two rescue pets—Peppa the dog (the foster fail) and Molly the cat (who was adopted from the SPCA a decade ago and has been running the household ever since).
